D.J. Caruso is in talks to direct Paramount Pictures’ feature film adaptation of Are You Afraid of the Dark?. The original television series ran on Nickelodeon for an entire decade, spanning seven seasons and a total of 91 episodes. Google has announced CUBE via a post on Google Plus, saying it’s a WebGL game that tests your navigation skills. It does require a WebGL enabled browser and a supported graphics card. The idea seemed strange to me at first, but it can be quite fun to play (after loading, which can take quite a bit). It’s basically a series of task you have to accomplish in a Cube made out of various important maps, while learning about Google Maps’ features – for example you have to get from one point to another by using the quickest route or go through some checkpoints....

Pixar’s first foray into fantasy, Onward, may inspire a whole new generation of Dungeons & Dragon enthusiasts when it arrives in theaters on March 6. Director and screenwriter Dan Scanlon reunited with his Monsters University producer Kori Rae to bring viewers a magical tale of two brothers on a one-day family reunion. Guided only by the bottom half of their father’s body and cards from a Quests of Yore game, Ian (Tom Holland) and Barley (Chris Pratt) set off on a quest of their own to bring back all of their father for at least one day....

Danger Girl has found a writer in the form of Umair Aleem. Debuting in 1998, Danger Girl began life as a comic book from the minds of J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell. Primarily an action-orientated secret agent series, Danger Girl focuses on the adventures of Danger Girl Freelance Operations Limited, an all-female group of top end spies. Taking cues from Charlie’s Angels and the James Bond franchise, Danger Girl has proved highly popular and is still releasing issues to this day, with numerous one-shot adventures and a 2000 PlayStation 2 video game fleshing out the franchise....

A regular fixture of both film and TV since the early ’80s, Danny Glover is still probably best known for his work as gruff cop Roger Murtaugh in the Lethal Weapon series. Starring alongside Mel Gibson as the always unpredictable Martin Riggs, Glover’s Murtaugh was a cop who seemed perpetually on the verge of retirement, and became famous for his running catchphrase “I’m gettin’ too old for this s***,” a line that appeared in all four Lethal Weapon films....
