A nightmarish new teaser for Fox’s New Mutants promises to face Samuel Guthrie a.k.a. Cannonball (Charlie Heaton) with his greatest fear. Daredevil and the Punisher are set to cross paths this spring as season 2 of Daredevil lands on Netflix in March. The latest teaser has promised a darker storyline, which will introduce new threats and complications for Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), specifically the arrival of his “psychotic” ex-girlfriend Elektra (Elodie Yung) and the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), who will launch an extremist war on crime. Daredevil won’t be hanging up his horns beyond the second season of the series, as Marvel just announced that the (usually) red-clad superhero will meet the hyper-violent antihero again in the comic book universe....

Crisis on Infinite Earths has gotten a new poster released and it includes the first look at Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow as DC hero Spectre. It has been confirmed that The Flash star Tom Cavanagh will be playing the part of Pariah in the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event - but who is he? This is a doubly fitting piece of casting considering Cavanagh’s key role in defining the Arrowverse and the history of the mysterious man from the original Crisis on Infinite Earths comics, whose arrival heralds disaster. Netflix’s Daredevil star Charlie Cox says that Ben Affleck’s performance in the 2003 film Daredevil “is fantastic.” A dozen years after Affleck disappointed fans by playing Matt Murdock/Daredevil in Fox’s feature film debut of Daredevil, Cox finally gave the Marvel faithful the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen they were hoping for with Netflix’s Daredevil, which brought the gritty edge to the character that Affleck’s film failed to provide. His turn as Murdock/Daredevil in 2015 was definitely a breakthrough role for Cox, who went on to reprise the character for a second seaso nin 2016 opposite Elodie Yung as Elektra Natchios and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher; and again in 2017 for The Defenders with Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/The Iron Fist....

There are five enhanced versions of classic Dungeons & Dragons video games that are coming to consoles in 2019, as Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, and Planescape Torment will soon be arriving on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Dungeons & Dragons license was a popular choice for PC RPGs throughout the late ’90s and early ’00s, but they started to die out over time, as developers would try and create their own fantasy series without needing to pay to use the Dungeons & Dragons name....

His motivation – “they killed my family so I’ll kill all of them” – isn’t exactly imbued with subtlety and nuance; there’s not a lot of wiggle room in terms of storytelling when a character exists entirely in one extreme. There is something to be said for that extreme, however....

Criminal UK’s episode 3 has a twist that elevates this section of the series. Netflix continues bringing original films and TV series, and one of its latest releases is Criminal, a police procedural anthology series set across four countries (France, Germany, Spain, UK), with three episodes per country, in local languages. A new Justice League promotion reveals Cyborg’s (Ray Fisher) altered origin story for Warner Bros.’ DC cinematic universe (unofficially known as the DC Extended Universe). Victor Stone, aka Cyborg, was created by comic book writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez, and he made his debut appearance in 1980 as one of the founding members of the Teen Titans. However, ever since the New 52 universe launched, Cyborg was repurposed as one of the founding members of the Justice League - but that’s not the only change to his origin story....

The update takes the Gmail up to version 2.0 and is one of the heftiest the app has received since it arrived on the iTunes App Store some months ago.
