The Netflix Daredevil series has set a new standard for superhero television. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been adding shows like Daredevil and now Jessica Jones to its fold and they’re wowing fans, sometimes even more than the feature films. Daredevil (Charlie Cox) is returning to Netflix next season and he will be taking on the legendary vigilante Frank Castle, who operates under the alias of The Punisher (Jon Bernthal)....

A new report has shed light on what went wrong behind the scenes on Dark Phoenix. Fox’s run on the X-Men movies started in 2000, but came to a disappointing conclusion this past weekend. Dark Phoenix was hampered by reports of poor test screenings ahead of its release, and the actual reviews were pretty negative all-around. This did virtually nothing to help the general lack of interest surrounding the X-Men film pre-launch, which resulted in Dark Phoenix bombing with a franchise-low $33 million bow at the domestic box office....

The popular developer utility app Dash has returned to the iOS App Store with Apple’s approval, according to the app’s developer. Dash was previously removed from the App Store after Apple claimed the developer’s account was related to fraudulent reviews. Bogdan Popescu who develops Dash wrote on his blog today that he submitted Dash for iOS to the App Store for a new account after multiple incidents of other developers submitting the app based on open-sourced code to the App Store....

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is not alone in warning companies to take action. Curb Your Enthusiasm star J.B. Smoove has just revealed that the highly anticipated ninth season of the series will premiere October 1 on HBO.
