The CW is welcoming the Arrowverse’s Batwoman, Ruby Rose, with open arms on social media. The John Wick: Chapter 2 and Orange is the New Black actress was announced as The CW’s Batwoman and will make her debut in the annual Arrowverse crossover in December 2018. Making a change from previous years, the upcoming Arrowverse won’t include all four shows, Legends of Tomorrow is excluded. This is, presumably, to give more time to introduce Ruby Rose’s Batwoman and her hometown of Gotham City....

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has signed on to star in the action comedy Guns Akimbo, as producers have started to pitch the film project to international buyers at the Cannes Film Festival. Even before he concluded his eight-film run as the titular character with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Radcliffe showed a willingness to take creative risks, beginning with his revealing role in the revival of Equus on Broadway, after he debuted the role on London’s West End in 2007....

Apple’s HIG includes sets of guidelines (not requirements) for designing software that best fits specific environments. X-Men: Dark Phoenix writer/director Simon Kinberg says that female X-Men characters are the main focus in his adaptation of Chris Claremont’s acclaimed comic book storyline, The Dark Phoenix Saga. Dark Phoenix is the studio’s second shot at bringing Claremont and Josh Byrne’s acclaimed 1980 comic story arc to life on the big screen. However, given how director Brett Ratner handled the story in X-Men: The Last Stand, the hope is that Kinberg - who wrote The Last Stand, but was forced to reduce the Dark Phoenix story thread to a subplot in his script - will do much better, now that he’s calling the shots and has more creative control over the final product....

Vader’s mask is unquestioningly one of the most recognizable pieces of franchise iconography, which helps explain why J.J. Abrams found ways to incorporate it into the sequel trilogy. Crisis on Infinite Earths’ Monitor actor has recently been receiving hate online for killing Green Arrow. The Monitor, played by actor LaMonica Garrett, has appeared in the different CW superhero shows. The Monitor played a major role in Crisis on Infinite Earths, the latest installment in the annual, multi-show CW crossover event. The 5-episode story arc culminated in Green Arrow being killed while trying to save the world.
