Popular password manager, Dashlane, has released its latest version today with some major additions to the service. Adding to the software’s previous features are a new ‘Identity Dashboard’ with both monitoring and restoration features, dark web monitoring, VPN service, 1GB of secure file storage, and more.

Announced in a press release today, the company shared more about how it worked to make Dashlane 6 more robust than ever. Looking to set itself apart from the competition, Dashlane 6 puts a focus on online risk prevention, identity monitoring, and identity restoration.

As for online risk prevention, the company touts its real-time password analysis, included 1GB of secure file storage, VPN service, dark web monitoring and security alerts.

It is also now including credit monitoring in partnership with TransUnion, which also will provide the identity restoration features like assistance in the event of identity theft and up to $1 million in identity theft insurance.

Dashlane 6 offers a free tier for one device to store up to 50 passwords. The premium tier is priced at $5/month and includes the VPN and dark web monitoring and syncing across unlimited devices. The premium plus membership is $10/month and includes all the new features mentioned above, including the identify monitoring and restoration features.
