Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will be releasing September 26 for the PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation 4. The visual novel series began in 2010 and was originally released in Japan. As it gained popularity and well-received reviews, it has become a popular multimedia franchise.
Danganronpa tells the story of 16 talented youths who find themselves trapped at school. The teens then become unwilling participants in a killing game. This game is operated by the series’ mascot, Monokuma. The winner will graduate and be granted freedom.
The newest game will have a new set of students facing the same circumstances. Gameplay will include new logic puzzles, debates, mysteries and more. What is more intriguing, however, is that this third installment of the franchise will feature a series first: a female protagonist.
Danganronpa preorders are available for the limited edition for the new game for both consoles.
