Daisy Ridley has already made a huge name for herself in Hollywood at only 27-years-old. Though Ridley began acting in minor roles on TV shows, it wasn’t long before she was starring as Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

To celebrate Ridley’s successful film career so far, as well as her latest Star Wars movie, we thought it was time to look at how her films rank. Rather than stacking them up ourselves, however, we’re turning to Rotten Tomatoes for answers.

The review aggregation website has assigned Ridley’s most popular feature-length works a Tomatometer rating, based on the negative and positive reviews of critics. This is what we’ll be using to rank her films.

With the logistics out of the way, it’s time to grab some popcorn and head to the big screen because these are how Daisy Ridley’s movies rank, according to Rotten Tomatoes.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker (57%)

Ridley’s only “rotten” movie is the final installment in the Skywalker Saga. The newly released film puts an end to the long-running mainline Star Wars series, and so naturally, critic reviews were mixed.

The Rise of Skywalker has Rey, Finn, and Poe teaming together with the Resistance to stop Kylo Ren and the First Order once and for all. Ridley resumed her role as Rey.

On the positive side, the special effects were top-notch, the music was gorgeous, the action was exciting, and the emotion was intense. On the downside, the plot faced a variety of flaws that critics couldn’t help but notice. Nevertheless, the film has already recovered its budget at the box office even though it is still in its first week.

Ophelia (60%)

William Shakespeare’s play Hamlet received a big-screen retelling in 2018. Rather than focusing on the titular character of the original, however, the film shifted its attention to Ophelia, the potential wife of Hamlet. The story was adapted from Lisa Klein’s novel of the same name.

Ridley starred as Ophelia, who is taken in by Queen Gertrude as a lady in waiting. As the kingdom threatens to crumble with a war on the horizon, Ophelia and Hamlet engage in a secret romance.

Though the critical response to the film was mixed, Ridley’s performance remained admired.

Murder On The Orient Express (60%)

This mystery thriller, based on the Agatha Christie novel of the same name, tells the story of a group of travelers who set out for an adventure on a trans-European train in the 1930s. After a businessman onboard gets murdered, however, it is up to the famous Hercule Poirot to solve the mystery and locate the killer.

Ridley portrayed one of the passengers on the train, governess Mary Debenham.

The film received mixed reviews, with praise being thrown at the all-star cast and well-crafted cinematography but condemnation being given to the lack of original material.

Peter Rabbit (64%)

In 2018, the beloved children’s book character Peter Rabbit received his own feature film. The comedy told of a group of bunnies who live in Mr. McGregor’s garden, spending most of their days stealing vegetables. Though Peter and his siblings are content, their security disappears after Mr. McGregor’s great-nephew moves in and decides to rid of the rabbits.

While James Corden starred as Peter, Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Daisy Ridley backed him up as Peter’s sisters, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail.

The colorful scenes and cute characters were applauded, though many believed Corden had been miscast. A sequel to the film, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, is scheduled to enter theaters in 2020. Ridley is set to reprise her role.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (91%)

In the eighth installment in the Skywalker Saga, Rey finally reaches Luke Skywalker, who has been living on an island in isolation, feeling as if he is the reason Kylo Ren turned toward the darkness. Though Luke is reluctant to help stop the First Order, Rey is insistent that he teaches her how to use the Force. Meanwhile, Finn and Poe prepare to fight alongside the Resistance.

The film was flooded with positive reviews, with the musical score, visuals, action sequences, and emotional intensity standing out in particular. The ensemble cast also received a round of applause, and the billions of box office dollars were there to back its success.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (93%)

The first film in which Ridley starred as Rey, The Force Awakens, headed straight to the big screen in 2015.

As the first installment in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, this film told the tale of the evil Kylo Ren, who hopes to rise to power within the First Order. Those who are out to stop him include the young scavenger, Rey, and a reformed stormtrooper, Finn. Their involvement with the Resistance comes after a droid bearing a map falls into their possession.

Nearly every aspect of the film was praised, from the editing to the screenplay to the strong performances. The movie appeared on many critics end-of-year top-10 lists, and of course, it spawned a couple of sequels.

The Eagle Huntress (94%)

This 2016 documentary film wasn’t just narrated by Ridley, but also produced by her. It tells the true tale of a 13-year-old Kazakh girl from Mongolia who tries to compete in an eagle festival as the first female to hunt alongside golden eagles.

Though the movie’s release was small, its admiration was large. Critics couldn’t help but commend the sweet message, powerful feelings, and pretty visuals.

Only Yesterday (100%)

Topping off the list as the highest-rated film of Ridley’s on Rotten Tomatoes is the Japanese animated drama Only Yesterday.

Originally released in 1991, the film focuses on a 27-year-old woman named Taeko who has spent her whole life living and working in Tokyo. While on a trip to visit her brother-in-law in the country, Taeko soon finds herself balancing the sweetness of her childhood memories with the realities of work and love.

The film received universal acclaim, with many praising the rich message and beautiful artwork. In honor of its 25th anniversary, an English-language version of the film was released and had Daisy Ridley voicing the leading character.
