The CW has revealed the final two Crisis on Infinite Earths episode synopses. Returning in January, the Arrowverse crossover looks to end in a big way. The event has already featured massive developments, including the death of the Flash from Earth-90.

Crisis on Infinite Earths aired its first three parts earlier this month. So far, the event has lived up to its name. Earths have been wiped from existence, and the heroes are currently in the conflict of their lives. In Part 1, Oliver gave his life battling shadow demons so humanity could escape its Earth’s destruction. In Part 2, Batwoman and Supergirl head to Earth-99 to recruit Bruce Wayne. Unfortunately, this version of Batman went over the edge, breaking his code of ethics. After a battle, Bruce is accidentally killed. However, this eventually reveals Batwoman as the Paragon of Courage. In Part 3, the Anti-Monitor makes his presence known by easily defeating the heroes through Harbinger. However, Pariah manages to save the chosen Paragons by sending them to the Vanishing Point, a place even the Anti-Monitor can’t follow. The stage is set, and now fans can get a glimpse of what’s to come.

The CW has released the plot synopses (via ComicBookMovie) for the final two episodes of Crisis on Infinite Earths. First is the synopsis for Arrow, and then Legends of Tomorrow. Check them out below.

Regarding Part 4’s synopsis, some fans may be curious what’s going on with Oliver. In Part 3, Oliver’s soul is found in Purgatory. Mia, Diggle, and Constantine are there to retrieve it, but another character arrives as well. Jim Corrigan, a character comic fans know as the Spectre, says it’s Oliver’s destiny to save everyone. This implies Oliver is going to be the Spectre going forward. As for the finale, it is unsurprisingly vague. The synopsis is identical to the original comic’s tagline. Interestingly, the Psycho-Pirate said something very similar at the end of Elseworlds.

THE EARTH-SHATTERING “CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS” CROSSOVER CONCLUDES – “Worlds lived, worlds died. Nothing will ever be the same.” Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu and Ubah Mohamed (#508). Original airdate 1/14/2020.

Fans are debating how Crisis on Infinite Earths will play out. The original comic book storyline concluded with the destruction of the multiverse in favor of one universe. It’s possible something like this will happen in the Arrowverse. Many fans would appreciate Supergirl and Batwoman being on the same Earth for example, leading to more crossover storylines without the need to switch between Earths. Fans wont have to wait much longer to see the event’s culmination. Crisis on Infinite Earths returns for its final two parts January 14.
